"Kavshirebi" obtained copies of letters sent by officials to the Civil Service Bureau acknowledging mistakes made in their own declarations, although over the years these corrections were no longer reflected in publicly proclaimed declarations (www.declaration.gov.ge).
We requested and received a copy of 288 letters from the Bureau excluding letters from officials whose positions have been classified.
We also received an explanation from the Bureau that after requesting copies of these letters, a new electronic system of declarations was launched on June 1, 2021, which allows officials to edit the document on the website (www.declaration.gov.ge) after submitting the declaration. Editing history will be reflected in the system.
